My friend Statler and I decided that we would like to cycle the banks of the Grand Canal. We're going to start from Celbridge in County Kildare where we both live and do it in chunks. Nothing too strenuous, just a bit of fresh air. We expect to do somewhere between one and two hours at a time and use cars to shuttle us from end point to end point. Not a lot of loops in tow path cycling.
